Our Story

Who we are?

We are a family-owned business from China and have been operating the hair comb business since 2015. I became attached to the horn comb because I was suffering from an itchy scalp at the time, and a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner who told me to stop using plastic combs recommended me to use natural materials, like sandalwood and horn. The long-term experience has made me fall in love with these humble daily necessities. At that time, I was helping my previous company with the online sales project. One day, I suddenly imagined, why can’t I share such wonderful products online? Then you see us here.

Why Master Panda?

As Chinese, we often refer to well-known and authoritative people in a certain profession or field as masters; pandas are unique animals in China, so, through this name, we want you to know that they commit us to becoming a dedicated authority Chinese brand.

Why Horn, Not Wood?

At first, besides the horn-made combs, we also made wooden combs. Although from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, they are all excellent and have a good health care effect on the hair and scalp, but after a period of understanding, I found that no matter from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, or texture of the material, and the uniformity of the product (wooden combs often require splicing, but horn combs do not), horn combs are more in line with my aesthetic, I like things that are simple, holistic and textured. Of course, I do not rule it out that we will resume the business of wooden combs in the future, but personally, I prefer the horn-made combs.

Where are your horns come from?

Southern China, Vietnam and India. In these countries and regions, buffalo is a very popular farmed edible animal, and our buffalo horn materials come from there. Although buffalo in different countries and regions are different in shape and size, but in terms of the composition of buffalo horn, they are indistinguishable. All our materials come from farmed buffalo horns and we refuse to kill wild animals.

Why Only Sell Here?

We used to sell our combs on Amazon, eBay, during which we kept trying to keep us competitive by lowering our margins, but my peers could always lower the price, and for me, the remaining only option is to adopt lower grade material, so I quit.

About Me

My Chinese name is Kwok, if you found it’s difficult to pronounce, call me Jeff, which I give myself the English name since university time. I’m a contradiction man because I love meat but don’t want to harm any harmless animal, even an ant. I have a lovely family member, who is a kitten, her name is Rella (she’s on the left).

Like my compatriots, I have no religious beliefs, but I have my moral bottom line, honesty, credit, and not doing evil. Unlike many of my Chinese compatriots, I am not a person who likes to spend all my time at work. Life requires work, but work is not the whole of life.

I love travel; I have ever been to Nigeria, Ethiopia, Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. To be honest, what impresses me the most is not the different scenery of each country, but the culture and cuisine, It’s nice to meet and chat with the people in different countries, taste their local food and culture. Chat with me, you are all welcomed.

We strive to make every piece of horn combs an extraordinary experience for you, and hope we can be friends all the time.
